Job Title : Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO)
Location: Dhaka
Working Days: Sunday – Thursday
Job Type: Contractual (Up to three years, renewable subject to performance)
Reporting: Shall report directly to the Regulatory Affairs Committee (RAC) of the Board but will also have an administrative reporting to the MD/CEO

Job Purpose
The CRO will lead the Regulatory Affairs Division (RAD) of the Company and will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, integrity, and in-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework in BSEC, Bangladesh Bank and Companies Act in Bangladesh as well as the international guidelines. A tech-savvy mindset with a solid understanding of data analytics and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams to integrate technology-enabled controls into regulatory processes is essential for this position.
The Specialist – Network & Application Support is responsible for providing end-to-end application and system support for telecom analytics platforms. The role focuses on issue analysis, troubleshooting, customer interaction, root cause analysis (RCA), and ensuring SLA-driven support delivery while collaborating closely with development and client teams to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.

• Representation in regulatory and legal matters |
Represent the Company in respect of all external investigations, law enforcement, prosecution agencies and courts of law and related matters |

1) Overseeing regulatory affairs and compliance activities of the Company
2) Managing liaison and communication with the regulatory offices of the Country
3) Ensuring effective surveillance of market activities and related systems
4) Representing the Company in investigations and legal proceedings
Skills & Knowledge
Educational Qualification: At least Bachelor in business, economics or law
Relevant Experience:
1) Not less than 10 (ten) years management experience
2) Professional designation like CFA, FCA, FCMA, FCS, CPA, CISA etc., including not less than 10 (ten) years professional experience
Technical Skills:
1) In-depth knowledge and experience of Regulation and act specially in BSEC, Banking Act, Company Act, Bangladesh Bank Act etc.
2) Strong understanding of regulatory framework of capital markets in Bangladesh
3) Understanding of RegTech solutions, data analytics and technology-enabled regulatory processes
