Job Title: Supply Chain Executive / Officer

Job Purpose
To manage end-to-end supply chain operations including import processes, warehouse coordination, vendor management, and regulatory compliance. The role ensures smooth execution of procurement, logistics, documentation, and delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Import & LC Operations | Manage LC opening processes and coordinate with banks. Handle insurance processing for imports. Maintain all import-related documentation. Coordinate with CNF agents for customs clearance. |
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination | Communicate with local & international suppliers. Coordinate with team and internal stakeholders. Liaise with banks, CNF agents, and logistics partners for smooth operations. |
Procurement & PO Management | Generate and manage Purchase Orders (PO). Support pricing negotiations, contract terms, and delivery schedules. Ensure timely procurement aligned with business needs. |
Warehouse Operations | Monitor goods movement from port to warehouse. Conduct regular warehouse visits and ensure proper stock handling. Maintain warehouse documentation and reporting. |
Regulatory & Compliance Management | Handle VAT office, customs office, and government-related activities. Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company policies. |
Sales Invoicing & Documentation | Prepare Sales Invoices and Proforma Invoices (PI) using Tally. Maintain accurate invoicing records for customers. Closely collaborate with the Accounts/Finance team for invoicing, payment processing, reconciliation, and financial documentation. |
System & Reporting | Use Tally ERP for invoicing and basic financial entries. Maintain records of procurement, logistics, and sales activities. Prepare periodic operational reports. |
Cost Optimization | Identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics and procurement. Improve operational efficiency and reduce supply chain costs. |
Major Challenges:-
- Managing multiple stakeholders (banks, suppliers, CNF agents, internal teams) simultaneously
- Ensuring compliance with changing government regulations and customs policies
- Handling delays in import clearance and logistics disruptions
- Maintaining cost efficiency while ensuring timely delivery
Key Decisions:-
- Selection and coordination of suppliers and logistics partners
- Prioritization of shipments and deliveries
- Negotiation support on pricing and delivery timelines
- Ensuring compliance adherence in operational processes
Skills and Knowledge
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Logistics / Finance or related field
Experience:
- 1–5 years of experience in supply chain / import-export / warehouse operations
- Practical experience in LC, CNF, customs, and logistics coordination is required
Functional Skills:
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation
- Understanding of VAT, customs regulations, and compliance requirements
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP and MS Excel
- Knowledge of procurement and warehouse management processes
