Job Purpose

The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – HR & Admin is responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations and administrative functions to ensure smooth people management, statutory compliance, and efficient office administration. The role supports management by maintaining effective HR systems, accurate records, and a compliant workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Expected Results Major Activities

• Effective recruitment and onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviews, and hiring
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and induction processes

• Accurate attendance, leave, and employee record management

  • Maintain attendance, leave, and employee databases
  • Ensure accurate updating of employee files and HR records
• Timely payroll processing and final settlement
  • Assist in preparing and processing monthly payroll
  • Handle employee final settlements, clearances, and documentation

• Proper HR documentation and certification

  • Prepare HR letters, certificates, and official documents
  • Maintain employee personal files and confidential records
• Efficient office administration and compliance
  • Oversee day-to-day office administration activities
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Regular HR & Admin reporting
  • Prepare and submit monthly HR & Admin reports to management
  • Support management with HR-related data and insights

Major Challenges

  • Managing HR operations and administrative responsibilities simultaneously
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Handling employee issues while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
  • Maintaining accurate records under tight timelines

Key Decisions

  • Resolving routine HR and administrative issues
  • Recommending improvements in HR processes and office administration
  • Ensuring compliance-related decisions aligned with labor laws

Skills & Knowledge : 

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related discipline

Relevant Experience

  • 3–5 years of practical experience in HR & Admin roles
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s in HR

Technical Skills

  • Sound knowledge of HR operations and Bangladesh Labor Law
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint

Personal Characteristics

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking ability
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
