Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager – Polymer to lead sales operations in Bangladesh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, expanding market share, and managing key client relationships. This role requires strong expertise in polymer sales, B2B marketing, and distribution management.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibility Description

• Sales Growth & Market Expansion

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve volumetric and revenue targets. Identify and expand new business opportunities within the polymer industry.

• Key Account & Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and stakeholders. Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

• Trade Marketing & Brand Positioning

Lead marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility. Work on pricing, promotions, and product positioning strategies.

• Strategic Planning & Sales Execution

Analyze market trends, competition, and industry dynamics to formulate effective sales plans. Align strategies with overall business objectives.

• Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
Ensure optimum stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking. Work closely with the supply chain team for seamless logistics.
• Market Intelligence & Reporting
Track competitor activities and market trends. Generate regular sales performance reports and recommend strategic adjustments.
• Collaboration with Internal Teams
Work with operations, marketing, finance, and product development teams to optimize sales performance.
• Customer Credit & Payment Monitoring
Monitor and manage customer recoveries to ensure timely payments and financial stability.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in sales/commercial management in a national or multinational company (MNC). Experience in B2B sales, polymer packaging, and engineering plastics is highly preferred.

Educational Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Chemistry or Graduate in Plastic/Polymer Technology.
  • MBA or degree in Management (preferred but not mandatory).

Major Challenges:
Expanding market share in a highly competitive polymer industry.
• Managing customer expectations while ensuring timely payments.
• Competing with local and international players with aggressive pricing strategies.
• Ensuring effective collaboration with distributors to avoid supply chain disruptions.
• Handling frequent travel requirements while managing multiple accounts.

Additional Requirements:
Fluency in English and local languages (preferred).
• Willingness to travel (50%) domestically and internationally as needed.
• Willingness to relocate if required
