Reports To: Head of Sales

Experience:
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing
- Experience in working with multinational corporations (MNCs) is highly preferred
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Mechanical Engineering background will be additional advantage
Job Context
To lead and implement strategic sales and marketing initiatives in assigned areas to achieve business growth and market share targets for the company’s products. Provide strong leadership to the sales team and foster sustainable business relationships with stakeholders.

Driving Sustainable Growth and Area Targets |
· Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. · Ensure growth in the assigned region through innovative marketing and sales tactics that are aligned with company’s business objectives. · Analyze market trends and gaps, identifying opportunities for business expansion and future growth. |
Trade Marketing and Brand Visibility | · Spearhead trade marketing initiatives to enhance brand presence and market penetration. · Design and execute marketing campaigns to strengthen the company brand across the region. · Ensure optimal merchandising and visibility of company’s products at retail outlets. |
Facilitating Company-Retailer Engagements |
· Organize and lead meetings and programs with retailers and end-users to foster strong business relationships and promote brand loyalty. · Coordinate with distributors to ensure the efficient flow of products and optimize stock levels across retail outlets. · Conduct regular visits to retailers and distributors, ensuring consistent communication and alignment with company’s business goals. |
Strategic Planning and Sales Execution | · Develop strategic plans for achieving sales volume, market share, and profitability in line with the annual business plan. · Regularly review brand, channel, and SKU-wise sales performance, and prepare reports for management. · Track competition and market trends, developing counter-strategies when necessary to stay ahead of competitors. |
Inventory Management and Product Planning |
· Maintain optimum inventory levels for all company’s SKUs to support uninterrupted market supply. · Liaise with the principal company to ensure proper product planning and competitive pricing, ensuring timely product availability. · Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure efficient logistics and minimize stock-outs or overstock situations. |
Market Analysis and Reporting | · Generate monthly reports capturing competition activities, sales performance, and market trends. · Analyze the impact of marketing and sales activities, assessing their effectiveness and proposing adjustments as needed. · Regularly assess consumer behavior and emerging trends to identify new sources of growth. |
MAJOR CHALLENGES
- Covering a wide territory while ensuring consistent sales performance and retailer engagement can be logistically challenging, especially with frequent travel requirements.
- Establishing trust and loyalty with retailers, especially in areas with strong competition from established brands, can be difficult.
- Meeting ambitious sales and market share targets in competitive markets with fluctuating demand and economic conditions.
- Competing against both local and international players who may offer aggressive pricing, higher margins to retailers, or greater brand recognition.
- Dependence on distributor efficiency for product availability and delivery may result in delays or inconsistencies that affect sales.
- Consumer preferences, retailer expectations, and business practices can vary significantly across different regions.
- Operating independently without direct team support can lead to a high workload and difficulty in managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Achieving ambitious goals with minimal direct support, particularly when operating in underdeveloped or resource-constrained areas.

- Decide on sales tactics tailored to specific market segments and regions.
- Prioritizing high-potential areas and customer segments for targeted sales efforts.
- Develop and execute promotional strategies aligned with local market dynamics.
- Customizing promotional campaigns based on local market dynamics and retailer needs.
- Identifying and resolving issues related to overstocking or stock outs in collaboration with distributors.
- Addressing retailer concerns or feedback independently to maintain trust and loyalty.
- Approving localized marketing and merchandising plans to improve brand visibility in retail outlets.
- Deciding on the placement of company’s products and promotional materials at high-impact points.
- Prioritizing which market insights or performance metrics to report to the senior management.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Mechanical Engineering background will be additional advantage
Experience Requirements:
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing
- Experience in working with multinational corporations (MNCs) is highly preferred
Competencies:
- Strong Relationship Management Skills
- Computer skills-should be comfortable working on MS Office Suite
- Strong Communication skills in Bangla and English.
- Expertise in trade marketing and brand visibility strategies.
- Team Dynamics
- Should possess ability to plan, analyze market information/market trends/company policies
Additional Requirements:
- Age: 35 to 40
- Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.
- The TM will not have any team to lead but will work independently to execute sales strategies.
- Candidates who can ride bikes will be highly preferred.
- The position requires working closely with multiple stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, and the senior management team
